Flower Box and Others for Yuletide Decoration

Few days from now, we will be celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Everybody is busy wrapping gifts, doing last minute shopping and decorating their homes. As a home and gardening aficionado, I want to share something about different holiday decorations that I know. These decorations are not normally used as Christmas decorations. They are originally made to house flowers or support plants.

What I am saying are flower box, hanging baskets and terrariums. These three are for home and gardening decorations only. But for us to include them as one of the embellishments for Christmas, we have to be creative.

Flower box for instance has a big space to accommodate more Christmas ornaments. Little decorations such as ribbons, figurine nativities and miniature pine tree to be used as a little Christmas trees. At least with this decorating stuff, we have double purpose. A plant box and at the same time a decorating thing. On my other article I had mentioned about flower box as well showing that I had my boxes decorated with ribbons and all those Christmas ornaments. But for you to create something new, you may apply some personal touch on it to have your boxes customized.

The next on my list is the hanging basket. This gardening master piece is great for outdoor decorations. We may include this as our outdoor Christmas decoration with colorful lights on it. We may also place a real poinsettia to make it more Christmas- like decorating idea in the morning. Brilliant would be a bountiful flowering plant with red blooming flowers on it. It may be simple but the more hanging baskets the greater view that we can get.

The last one is the glass terrarium. It may be a simple glass container but it may be the most useful piece of decoration at home. I have used my glass terrariums at home not only for Christmas but for most of the events that we annually celebrate like Thanksgiving and Halloween. I am also using terrariums for just because days. It is a fascinating piece of interior decoration. I believe that everybody would be willing to have this glass container hanging or attached on the walls at home.

Plant gift For Christmas Flower Box

Happy holidays gardening aficionados! Christmas is near and I bet everybody is excited to fill their home with decorations. I really want to check out how your homes look like when holidays like this come. I believe you guys do have the loveliest house in town. As an enthusiast myself, I still need more ideas to give my house a fresh look this Christmas and I hope to have some great ideas from you. As of this moment, I think that planter box, flower box and terrariums are great home interior contributors.

I want to share with you what I did with my decorations. As for the planter box, I made it an illuminated planter that glows in the dark. It is really stunning during the night. I am using luminous green, red, and white. Everybody loves the illuminated planter. I have it placed on the patio and some in my house. I love the brightness that it brings in my house. You might want to have it as well. I would love to see friends checking and using some planters at home. At least I had given some nice interior and exterior ideas.

My next design is the flower box. Typically, flower boxes are gardening design and usually placed outdoors but some people who got no backyards enjoy the designer container box in their living space. We can place Christmas plants to complete everything. We can plant poinsettias, holly, osmanthus, camellia, pyracantha and Euro tree to make the flower box look more like a holiday decoration. On my end, I have it planted with Euro tree and trimmed it with some ornaments like the pine cones, some red ribbons and placed a nativity scene figurines.

Last yuletide decoration that I added at home aside from my conventional Christmas tree, are glass and bubble terrariums. They are aquarium like glass but is developed or improved to be more useful home decoration. What I did is I inserted some red candles and had some ribbons placed on there. The best thing about glass terrariums, I had them hanging and attached on walls. They really complement my planters and flower box.

Good thing I did some research online and saw some useful holiday decorations that really did a great job at home. I am so happy to share it with you guys as well. But I appreciate if you could give some suggestions as well. I would be happy to make some changes next year. Have a great Christmas!

Although we would always see wreaths and Christmas trees decorated everywhere, we might find something else that would be more appealing and that is new and fresh to everybody’s eyes. May it be Valentines, birthdays, Halloweens and Christmas. Just be sure to use proper ornaments to match the concept of the event.

Another decoration that we can add to our holiday decoration is the flower box. Boxes can be purchased or customarily made. Good thing about container boxes is the availability of spaces to decorate it with some ornaments to follow idea of the event. We may remove some flowering plants to accommodate some embellishments that Christmas brings. We may include some nativity decoration if we have creative concept in mind. Flower boxes are not only for outdoor use, apartment building residents may also utilize this home and gardening decoration indoors. That is actually the main purpose of container boxes. They are for outdoor and indoor usage. Trimming the container with Christmas ribbons, placing some miniature Christmas trees and adding some glittering ornaments and lights could create a perfect home and gardening decoration during the yuletide season.

I have to admit, Christmas is just a few days from now and everybody is busy. As for me, to feel the spirit of Christmas, placing some decorations would be the best thing that I can do. We can put any Christmas embellishments that we want so long as the Christmas feel is there. Happy Christmas!

Few days from now Christmas is coming to town. I bet everybody’s excited to fill their homes with interior decorations. Trim their Christmas tree with wonderful holiday ornaments and attach a holiday wreath on their door. Everything about Christmas is pleasant for everybody.

Every year our concept for home improvement is the same. We have same old Christmas tree, wreaths, and other common Christmas embellishments. For a change, have we tried something unique that could catch our neighbor or guest’s eyes when they see the patio or can be inside our home? It would be best to try something new in our house, something pleasant yet unique decoration that could create a different look to our home during the holiday season.

Why not try including our plants, plant stand, window boxes and hanging plants as part of our home Christmas decorations? They would surely be head turners to people passing by our home. These home accents can be of great value because they do have multi-purpose especially the flower box and hanging baskets.

Flower boxes for instance are perfect home accents. They don’t only work as plant containers. They also compliment windows and patios. We can surely put flowers that give bountiful blooms. Example of which are violet flowers, campanula, kalanchoe, etc. that would give the exact beauty that we need for our box. As holiday decorations, flower box can be given some accents like silver, red and green ribbon (that definitely will depend on our interior Christmas motif), Christmas lights and Christmas ornaments that can be attached and easily removed on certain surfaces.

Another example is the hanging basket. As per some online stuff, hanging baskets are easy to create. But we need to be creative as not to spoil the beauty that hanging baskets bring. Just like the flower box, hanging basket needs to have bountiful blooms of flower. These blooms bring out the beauty of the hanging basket even if it is plainly made. As Christmas decoration, we can add some holiday ornaments like silver bells, and ribbons to the basket.

Wreath is a sign of hospitality according to many. We have holiday wreaths for different occasions. Customizing would be possible if we want to participate in any event of the year. Say for instance during the 4th of July.
