Christmas Boxes

Whenever we see wreaths decorated with silver bells, ribbons and candles, we can feel that Christmas is coming. Although we would always see wreaths and Christmas trees decorated everywhere, we might find something else that would be more appealing and that is new and fresh to everybody’s eyes. There are so many interior Christmas decorations that are not yet being introduced to public. But we may find these decorations striking and it my complement the concept or them of our home.

Just like the glass terrariums, it may be simple but filling it with some ornaments like ribbons, silver bells, miniature nativities and some colorful penlights could me dazzling. Glass terrariums have some options to either hang or attached on walls. The flexibility of this decoration can be used for different occasions. May it be Valentines, birthdays, Halloweens and Christmas. Just be sure to use proper ornaments to match the concept of the event.

Another decoration that we can add to our holiday decoration is the flower box. Boxes can be purchased or customarily made. Good thing about container boxes is the availability of spaces to decorate it with some ornaments to follow idea of the event. We may remove some flowering plants to accommodate some embellishments that Christmas brings. We may include some nativity decoration if we have creative concept in mind. Flower boxes are not only for outdoor use, apartment building residents may also utilize this home and gardening decoration indoors. That is actually the main purpose of container boxes. They are for outdoor and indoor usage. Trimming the container with Christmas ribbons, placing some miniature Christmas trees and adding some glittering ornaments and lights could create a perfect home and gardening decoration during the yuletide season.

I have to admit, Christmas is just a few days from now and everybody is busy. As for me, to feel the spirit of Christmas, placing some decorations would be the best thing that I can do. We can put any Christmas embellishments that we want so long as the Christmas feel is there. Happy Christmas!

Holiday Window Boxes

Few days from now Christmas is coming to town. I bet everybody’s excited to fill their homes with interior decorations. Trim their Christmas tree with wonderful holiday ornaments and attach a holiday wreath on their door. Everything about Christmas is pleasant for everybody.

Every year our concept for home improvement is the same. We have same old Christmas tree, wreaths, and other common Christmas embellishments. For a change, have we tried something unique that could catch our neighbor or guest’s eyes when they see the patio or can be inside our home? It would be best to try something new in our house, something pleasant yet unique decoration that could create a different look to our home during the holiday season.

Why not try including our plants, plant stand, window boxes and hanging plants as part of our home Christmas decorations? They would surely be head turners to people passing by our home. These home accents can be of great value because they do have multi-purpose especially the flower box and hanging baskets.

Flower boxes for instance are perfect home accents. They don’t only work as plant containers. They also compliment windows and patios. We can surely put flowers that give bountiful blooms. Example of which are violet flowers, campanula, kalanchoe, etc. that would give the exact beauty that we need for our box. As holiday decorations, flower box can be given some accents like silver, red and green ribbon (that definitely will depend on our interior Christmas motif), Christmas lights and Christmas ornaments that can be attached and easily removed on certain surfaces.

Another example is the hanging basket. As per some online stuff, hanging baskets are easy to create. But we need to be creative as not to spoil the beauty that hanging baskets bring. Just like the flower box, hanging basket needs to have bountiful blooms of flower. These blooms bring out the beauty of the hanging basket even if it is plainly made. As Christmas decoration, we can add some holiday ornaments like silver bells, and ribbons to the basket.

Whatever we do so long as the spirit of Christmas is in our hearts, we will always have a merry and joyful Christmas. Happy Holidays!

Holiday Spirit with Wreaths

Wreath is a sign of hospitality according to many. People entering a living space will feel the warm welcome of the host if wreaths are decorated on the door or any part of the patio or receiving area for guests. Good thing about wreaths is its availability even if it is not a special day. We can have it as part of our home interior design to make our visitors feel that they are welcome.

We have holiday wreaths for different occasions. Customizing would be possible if we want to participate in any event of the year. Say for instance during the 4th of July. Having the wreath wrapped with ribbons of white, blue and red would create a certain impact to our neighbors. They will be reminded that we are celebrating the liberty of our country.

Another example would be during the Halloween. Wreaths can be suitable if designed appropriately. Others would wrap their advent symbol with black and orange ribbons to represent pumpkins and the dark environment of the Halloween. Adding ornaments like spiders and webs at the center would be a much presentable piece. On that same month when we celebrate Halloween we can also visit our relatives or loved ones who passed away to commemorate them. It would be a generous kind of gesture if we bring a sympathy wreath as an offering.

Thanksgiving is the almost sought after event every year. Most people are visiting their loved ones to gather and celebrate one of the most important holidays in our lives. Happy memories and laughter can be heard everywhere. With our holiday wreaths attached to our door and walls, we can feel the spirit of the holiday.

The last season as we all know is the Advent or the Christmas season. This is the time when Christmas wreaths are mostly visible everywhere. This is the time when the yuletide wreath is definitely given the utmost importance because it is the symbol of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Creating wonderful designs to make stunning and pleasant holiday wreaths are the usual season game for the community. Everybody is happy to design wreaths that would give their neighbors an idea that Christmas is coming to town. Ornaments such as silver bells, hollies, ribbons, candles and pine cones are the best embellishment that we can add to our Christmas wreaths. Looking all houses with wreaths on their doors gives meaning to the holiday spirit.
