Worry-Free Containers For People On The Go

Maintaining a flower or plant in planter or a container may seem to be a bit hard especially when the plant needs to be watered from time to time. Since, most of our time we are spending it at work, we might as well bring these potted plants at work so that we could take care of them properly. That is just one of the many resolution to the problem but, what about weekends? Who will take care of them during the two days off that you have from work? Is transferring them back and forth a solution?  It will just take up much of your time and your effort, you will just end up getting more tired and stressed rather than happy and relaxed. But because of our modern world, manufacturers have come up with the idea of having a self watering planter.

Isn't it a brilliant idea of having a windowsill self watering planter? We do not have to worry anymore about our plant, we could leave them freely either at home or at the office and we are still pretty sure that our plant will be watered at the right time with just the right amount. It has a perfect mix of style and functionality and is definitely for those who loves different flowers and plants but is always on the go or on vacation. The windowsill self watering planter features a water reservoir that draws excess water up and keeps it at the plant roots where it is needed the most. These planters are made of strong weather-resistant and UV resistant plastic, that is an assurance that we could leave our plant outside and we do not have to worry about the plant and the planter itself.

This is by far the most wonderful product that I have met. It is thanks to the makers of these planters that now we can be worry free of maintaining the water on our plants or flowers.

A Very Functional and Decorative Garden Clock and Thermometer

Working in our garden, takes up most of my time and I really don't bother to check what time of the day it is because I am concentrating on the flowers and plants that I need to maintain. I would normally stop when I feel my stomach is already asking for food. My son and husband would keep calling me to eat but I would just keep on working like I didn't hear a thing. But lately I realized that I don't want to get sick because I am skipping the most important meal of the day which is breakfast and I would also eat a late lunch. My husband is so worried and we talked about it after dinner last night. I felt sorry for both of them because it is during weekends where we could all bond and eat together three times a day but I have missed those chance because I was very mesmerized working at our garden.

My husband suggested that we should buy a garden clock so that I could still tell the time while working outside. We checked our favorite online site for some garden clock and we are very happy to see that they do have it. The garden clock comes with a thermometer, which I think is very convenient because you could tell the time and the temperature all at once just by looking at the garden clock and thermometers. These outdoor clock and thermometer is not only a decorative accent to display along exterior walls but also it is a very functional tool. This type of clock will give an accurate display of time and temperature, while adding a charming accent to our porch, patio, or walls that run alongside garden beds.

The clock and thermometer gets delivered to our house within 3-4 business days and I am very confident that this product from Windowbox is durable and fully assembled and tested so that they are ready to be displayed after receiving it.

Environment Friendly Garden

Having your own garden at home has always it's advantages and it is one of the most rewarding activities you and your family could enjoy especially when growing your own food. Being able to enjoy delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs from your own and backyard, plus growing your own food impacts mostly you and your family's health as well as the environment. Planting, harvesting and caring for a garden is a great way to get some outdoor exercise and a good stress reliever too. Growing your own food can also save significant money on groceries, it will surely be a big help in cutting the cost of the grocery bill. Not only that you and your family will be able to eat fresher and better tasting foods, you are also sure that your own home grown vegetables and herbs are free from chemical fertilizers and all other pesticides that can be harmful to you and your family's health when eaten.

You could start your own indoor or outdoor garden by buying heirloom kits which could actually find at any supermarkets or at any gardening shop that offers this kind of product. I first started with heirloom pepper kit which I bought online, then after a month of taking good care of them indoors, I transferred them to our backyard, where they can grow freely under the sunlight. After the heirloom pepper kit, I decided to buy the heirloom tomato and cherry tomato kits. I am pretty sure that all of these organic vegetables are a sure hit to me and my family. Not only that, it also has it's environmental advantages.

Knowing that when you grow your own food can actually help in reducing the carbon foot print and can help in protecting air and water quality, a gardener must really be proud of him/herself. Always remember that growing your own fruits, vegetables and herbs does not only provide food on your table but it can also be a great way in improving or enhancing the beauty of your home and garden.
