Every home has a unique design and we all have our options to get some suitable ornaments that could enhance the look that we would like our abode to have. It is not easy to set a perfect look to our dream home. We need to have a great amount of resources to purchase whatever necessary things that we need. As for me, budget will not be a hindrance to make our dream home. We just have to be initiative and creative to fill in the lacking factor that could complete the right household decoration that we could add to our living space.

There are ideal gardening decorations that we could add to our home. We do not need some stylish and expensive customized window boxes to accommodate our plants. If we lack designer boxes, we can do something with the plants to cover the imperfection of our planter box or container gardens. We can select a flowering plant that has a bountiful bloom. As a home and gardening enthusiast, I didn’t know that there are window box contest going on every year. I was just sitting around, planting, tending and making my house look good all the time. I am so ignorant about gardening contests that are brought to us by different home and gardening manufacturers. If I wasn’t informed by a friend, I wouldn’t know about the said competition.

I checked online and saw so many houses joining this flower box making contest. Everybody who won really deserved it. There are even wonderful and unique entries. I didn’t know that rails can be part of the design. I saw many entries with such lovely impact when they maximized their patios with boxes designed with different bountiful flowering plants. I am really amazed with all their workmanship. Everything is really great.

There are different categories that are being specified, namely, window boxes (under windows), window boxes (deck/ balcony railings), planters (deck, patio and porches) and hanging baskets. I sort of like the separate categories for window boxes. At least we all have the option to focus on one particular category. I think this is really a cool idea. This could be also a very healthy competition because there is a contest like this that gathers all the garden aficionados and show everybody what they had and share all their ideas with others.

If I had known about the contest, I would definitely join all categories. I am not really for the winning. I only want my garden being exposed to public because I am proud of my gardening decorations. Every single part of my garden is a masterpiece. I have sort of different hanging basket, flower window box and planter designs. I believe that people will be happy to see all of my creation. I am not bragging about my accomplishment but I am just proud of my prized possession. I really missed the chance of joining this prestigious home and gardening flower window box contest. But hey there is always next year.

Terrariums are one of the newest modern home and gardening ornaments that are not yet being used by most people. It is actually an aquarium but is improvised and made as a container gardening box. There are different types of terrariums namely, bubble, globe and hanging glass terrariums. They can be either attached on the wall or hung on the ceiling.

All these ideas are possible if we just open our minds to innovation for home and gardening.

Another home and gardening accent that we can add to our interior decoration are terrariums. As we all know, terrarium is made of glass and is actually an aquarium but was modified so that we can place live plants in it and attach it either on walls or hang it on the ceiling. There are different types of terrariums, the glass, globe and bubble terrariums. These three are made with the same materials but differs on design. All three have the option to hang on the ceiling or have it posted on the wall.
