Few days from now, we will be celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Everybody is busy wrapping gifts, doing last minute shopping and decorating their homes. As a home and gardening aficionado, I want to share something about different holiday decorations that I know. These decorations are not normally used as Christmas decorations. They are originally made to house flowers or support plants.
What I am saying are flower box, hanging baskets and terrariums. These three are for home and gardening decorations only. But for us to include them as one of the embellishments for Christmas, we have to be creative.
Flower box for instance has a big space to accommodate more Christmas ornaments. Little decorations such as ribbons, figurine nativities and miniature pine tree to be used as a little Christmas trees. At least with this decorating stuff, we have double purpose. A plant box and at the same time a decorating thing. On my other article I had mentioned about flower box as well showing that I had my boxes decorated with ribbons and all those Christmas ornaments. But for you to create something new, you may apply some personal touch on it to have your boxes customized.
The next on my list is the hanging basket. This gardening master piece is great for outdoor decorations. We may include this as our outdoor Christmas decoration with colorful lights on it. We may also place a real poinsettia to make it more Christmas- like decorating idea in the morning. Brilliant would be a bountiful flowering plant with red blooming flowers on it. It may be simple but the more hanging baskets the greater view that we can get.
The last one is the glass terrarium. It may be a simple glass container but it may be the most useful piece of decoration at home. I have used my glass terrariums at home not only for Christmas but for most of the events that we annually celebrate like Thanksgiving and Halloween. I am also using terrariums for just because days. It is a fascinating piece of interior decoration. I believe that everybody would be willing to have this glass container hanging or attached on the walls at home.
I am really happy to have given my thoughts about Christmas interior decoration. Whatever decorating ideas we have in mind the thing is, we will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with peace and love. Happy Christmas!
