Easy To Take Care Juniper Bonsai Plant

Looking after and taking care of a juniper bonsai in my garden and indoors are by far the most easy compare to the other live plants that I have at home. Although there are guidelines to follow in making sure that they grow healthily, there is much less effort and it is actually a good stress reliever when you are shaping these juniper bonsai. It was given to me some years ago as a small juniper bonsai plant but now it has grown more maturely and been pruned for years to achieve the wind-swept look of the traditional bonsai. As we all know, junipers are one of the most popular forms of bonsai because they are easy to train, easy to take care for plus they have an authentic oriental appearance.

Junipers are rugged and hardy trees and make a fascinating specimens. Because these junipers grow quickly, this type of bonsai plant gives inexperienced Bonsai artist a great insights in to the Bonsai world. They are basically grown in pots and are totally dependent on the gardener or the owner of the plant for their care. With proper care, my small juniper bonsai plant which has grown to be a large juniper bonsai has remain healthy, beautiful and miniature for years now and I know that it will still increase in beauty as it matures through the years. Juniper bonsai care is perhaps the less complex, and due to the hardiness of the trees, you can afford a few forgetful mistakes along the way.

The best juniper bonsai care conditions need to incorporate a regular watering schedule and a good soil conditions. Always remember that a juniper bonsai is a living miniature tree and not a houseplant, therefor it must be maintained in a cool/cold environment. When grown well, it will accelerate upwards and outwards and can become bushy and overgrown and that is where pruning in your own stylish way comes in. Always start from to bottom when pruning and work up to the crown. Once you have done all of these, you will definitely get an indescribable feeling especially when you see the results are as what you have imagined it at first.
