Convenience of Getting a Flower Box Liner

My husband who installed the window boxes at home is still not satisfied with his works. Since it's already rainy season, he is afraid that all the flowers he had planted on the window boxes might die because of the overflowing water because on the south wing of the house almost all the flowers already died. So he decided to look for an alternative way or a solution to his problem. We check out the website where we bought these window boxes to see if they offer anything that could help us with our problem. He needs to change the flowers on the south part of the house, I told him to just move the flowers indoor, and when the rainy season is over he could just put the flowers back to where they should belong. But he still insisted on looking for other ways to solve our problem.

Then we came across with these window box liners, and ordered for a heavy duty poly-pro flower box liners. We were both wishing that this could be a solution, good thing that these flower box liners had a detailed information of the size, price and the shipment information. We we're looking forward to receive the shipment within two to three business days and we chose the polypropylene because it's cheaper but still a heavy duty plastic liners that can stand for several seasons. and we can easily punch holes or pierce holes at the bottom for outdoor use and it's very light weight so it is much easier to move them. I also read through some bloggers advice that we should first plant the flowers indoors until such time that they have fully grown and ready to be left outside in our window boxes. There are other options as well but we choose to have the plastic liners because they are much convenient and inexpensive too.

For details about the window boxes and flower or window box liners, feel free to check the www.windowbox.com website. You could shop for different window boxes, pots and planters, gardening tools and many more, as well as get guides on how to grow and take care different plants and design your own garden.

Importance of a Window

A window is defined as a transparent or translucent opening in a wall, door, or vehicle that allows the passage of light, and if not closed or sealed, air and sound passes through it too. Windows are made for many reason, just like the doors and the walls of the house, they all serve their purpose. Ventilation and capturing the outside warmth are some of the reason why windows are needed. It is also a means of connection from the outside to the inside of the house, as well as promotes privacy and security all at the same time. While performing all of these roles windows must also be functional, opening and closing easily, locking practically and efficiently because if not, these windows will loose it's function or purpose.

Homes that are light-filled are the ones that have more and bigger windows, in Feng Shui, the windows location are very critical since they are called the eyes of the home and are related, on an energy level to the owner's ability to see clearly in life. Keeping the windows in your home clean and clear, as well as, providing harmonious window treatments to allow maximum natural light during the day and gives privacy at night is the best Feng Shui. Improvements of these windows should add to the harmonious decor look in your home rather than take away from it. Fiberglass window box are also perfect for every window because they are flexible, they can adjust to any window type without loosing it's beauty and charm. Adding fabric curtains made of natural fabric or draperies and blinds will add softness to the energy of the bedroom too.

In choosing the right or perfect home, one must take into consideration the design and the location of the doors and windows. Window design and placement are very essential and you must take into consideration the various aspects of a property that is important to you.

Turning A Dull Balcony Into A Lovely Space

Now who says that you cannot have your own garden in your condo or apartment because of the limited space you have in the balcony. Nowadays, restricted spaces are no longer a major problem for garden enthusiasts. You can create your own haven by using containers and modern planters to start your make over. Few tools must also needed to help you create your own little garden in your balcony.

First, you must have an idea about the plants and flowers that are best for your garden. Consider all necessary precautionary details, like the height it reach when it grows old, the location, and if it is ideal for containers. These are some of the details you need to consider before choosing the plants you wish to grow.

Tools may be very limited and simple for those who would like to grow a little garden in a limited space and would like to try container gardening. A small shovel for containers, watering containers, mix potting soil, fertilizer and gorgeous container will do. For this type of gardening, you may need to give a little investment for your containers since these are the permanent haven of your plants.

Personally I like buying containers from shops that make valuable containers for plants. I do not buy these from local department stores because most of these are made from cheap materials and some are toxic to plants. Rustic bark planters of windowbox.com are unique containers I saw online. The materials take from squares of authentic tree bark and turns them into a gorgeous garden accent. These bark planters include a plastic liner that protects it from damp soil mix and since it originally comes from the bark of the tree it fights mold and mildew - definitely! a gorgeous and ideal home of your lovely flowers and plants. If you are planning to plant herbs for cooking, these are ideal containers too.

If you already verified all the things you needed, consider recurring activities that are very important to maintain and to grow your plants. Watering is the basic need of your plants and they need to be treated with enough water everyday for them to grow graciously. But overdoing it will also kill your plants. Just make sure that the soil is damp and moist all the time. Some plants may need your attention every now and then. Just make sure you know your plants well.

A Place We Call Our Own

A house is a place where we live, and it is a place where love and building of character happens. I remember when I was younger, my parents and I used to lived with my grandparents house because they can not afford to build a house just yet. At that time, my uncle and his kid's are also staying at the same house as ours, Having 3 families under one roof has always been happy but at the same time complicated. We were the first to move out of our grandparents house, my mom and dad decided to rent a house since they were just starting . After 3 years of renting, and mom and dad were able to save up some money, they have decided to build a house of our own.

They bought a land and started to build our new home. We were all excited for the house to finish because we wanted to move in immediately. It took months for the house to be fully furnished, and at last, the day has arrived for us to move into our new home, a place we can call our own. We had separate rooms for reasons I don't understand since I was still young. But, I'm happy because I would have a space of my own and I could just hide in my room if I don't feel like talking to anybody or If I got scolded by my mother. I like our new house because it's very cozy and we can do whatever we want unlike staying at our grandparents house our movement is very limited, since we need to consider the feelings of others.

My room is parallel to our parents room, while my brother's room is located just beside mine. Every Saturday is our general cleaning day, since mom is also working, she do not have ample time to clean our house. She had assigned a specific task for me since I am a girl and I need to be familiarize with the household chores. After cleaning my room and our living room, I would water the flowers on my window. The flowers are planted on a scroll window basket with a coco liner, the flowers fits my windows perfectly. reminiscing all of those happy moments would bring tears to my eyes, a mix emotion of happiness and regret at the same time.
